About this course

This course is for users expected to work with the Lease Accounting module in PowerPlan. This course will cover the basics of lease accounting and how the Lease Accounting module streamlines and simplifies lease accounting processes within a centralized lease repository. Day to day and monthly tasks such as lease initiation, lease maintenance, and invoice reconciliation will be discussed.

 

Objectives:

At the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Create new and maintain existing leases in the Lease Accounting module
  • Run Reports and Queries
  • Execute Month End Close processes
  • Explain the Lease Agreement Structure

Intended Audience:

Users who expect to view, enter, maintain, or approve leases in the Lease Accounting module.

Additional Information:

Prerequisites: Attending the Fundamentals of PowerPlan Fixed Assets and Projects course is recommended but not required.

Advanced Preparation: None

Program Level: Basic

Delivery Method: Group Internet Based

Class sessions will be held each day from 10:00am - 3:00pm (EDT) with a one hour break for lunch from 12:00pm - 1:00pm.

CPE Credits = 8 credits possible (Accounting)

In order to be awarded the full credits, participants must be present the entire training session and respond to 24 polling questions ( or 3 polling questions per hour) asked during this program. Credits will be rounded down to the nearest half credit.

We are unable to grant CPE credit in cases where technical difficulties preclude eligibility. CPE Program Sponsorship guidelines prohibit us from issuing credit to those not verified by the technology to have satisfied the minimum requirements listed above.
