About this course

This course is intended for any users of the PowerPlan Fixed Assets, Projects, or Cost Repository who need to quickly reach an in-depth level of understanding of Project Tracking, Analysis, and Reporting. Participants will learn how to use a variety of Data Reporting features in PowerPlan.  The course covers the differences between popular features such as ARCs, Alerts, AnyQueries, and MyPowerPlan Dashboard features, as well as how to implement these features according to best practices.

Objectives:

At the end of this course you will be able to

  • Describe the differences in Configuration and Application among various Reporting/Querying Tools within the PowerPlan application.
  • Promote best practices for utilizing features such as ARCs, Alerts, and AnyQueries. 
  • Explain the benefits of these tools within given workflow processes, such as Month End Close or MyPowerPlan Dashboard configuration.
  • Describe the role of Batch Files in the use of these tools.
  • Enumerate the steps in configuring these various tools within the application.
  • Explain the importance of utilizing these tools to promote data management.

Intended Audience:

New and Intermediate Property Accounting users.

Advanced Preparation: None

Program Level: Basic

Delivery Method: Group Internet Based

Class will be held from 10:00am - 3:00pm (Eastern) with a one hour break for lunch from 12:00pm - 1:00pm.

CPE Credits = 4 credits possible (Accounting)

In order to be awarded the full credits, participants must be present the entire training session and respond to 12 polling questions ( or 3 polling questions per hour) asked during this program. Credits will be rounded down to the nearest half credit.

We are unable to grant CPE credit in cases where technical difficulties preclude eligibility. CPE Program Sponsorship guidelines prohibit us from issuing credit to those not verified by the technology to have satisfied the minimum requirements listed above.
