About this course

This course is intended for any users of the PowerPlan Fixed Assets, Projects, or Cost Repository who need to quickly reach an in-depth level of understanding of the Month End Close process. The functional structure of the system is discussed including Order of Operations, common Interfaces, Work Order and CPR Control windows, Non-Unitized and Unitized Error Handling, as well as common Reports and Queries.

Objectives:

At the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Describe the steps to close both the Projects/Work Order functions and the Asset functions of the system.
  • Describe the most common Interfaces, as well as execute the most common Reports related to the Month End Close.

Intended Audience:

New and Intermediate property accounting users or those wishing a more in-depth understanding of the PowerPlan Month End Close process.

Prerequisites: Attending the Fundamentals of PowerPlan Fixed Assets and Projects course

Advanced Preparation: None

Program Level: Intermediate

Delivery Method: Group Internet Based

Class will be held from 9:00am - 4:00pm (Eastern) with a one hour break for lunch from 12:00pm - 1:00pm.

CPE Credits = 6 credits possible (Accounting)

In order to be awarded the full credits, participants must be present the entire training session and respond to 18 polling questions ( or 3 polling questions per hour) asked during this program. Credits will be rounded down to the nearest half credit.

We are unable to grant CPE credit in cases where technical difficulties preclude eligibility. CPE Program Sponsorship guidelines prohibit us from issuing credit to those not verified by the technology to have satisfied the minimum requirements listed above.
