Capital Budgeting Best Practices - Open Enrollment
This course provides an overview of PowerPlan’s Capital Budgeting module's best practices. It introduces the flexible management tools found in the PowerPlan Project Cost Management and other Capital Budgeting modules that work to ensure accurate annual budgeting, forecasting, and project cost management as part of the overall capital budget planning.
Objectives:
At the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Describe how PowerPlan’s Capital Budgeting Best Practices are in line with industry-leading practices.
- Recite the key reasons for budgeting and the questions your company asks that budgeting answers drive better budgeting practices.
- List the key benefits of implementing Capital Budgeting Best Practices budgeting tools to ensure accurate annual budgeting, forecasting, and project cost management as part of the overall capital budgeting planning.
- Apply and implement best practices for the Capital Budgeting modules.

CPE Credits = 4 credits possible (Finance)
Class will take place each day 10:00am-3:00pm(Eastern) with a one hour break for lunch from 12:00pm-1:00pm
In order to be awarded the full credits, participants must be present the entire training session and respond to 12 polling questions ( or 3 polling questions per hour) asked during this program. Credits will be rounded down to the nearest half credit.
We are unable to grant CPE credit in cases where technical difficulties preclude eligibility. CPE Program Sponsorship guidelines prohibit us from issuing credit to those not verified by the technology to have satisfied the minimum requirements listed above.
